Tallinn Language Centre is a private language school that was set up in 1993. The school also carries the name 'International House Tallinn', having acquired the necessary standard required by the International House World Organisation (IHWO) to then become the sole IHWO affiliate and representative in Estonia.
Our teachers are trained and qualified teachers who have gained certificates or higher diplomas in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (such as the Cambridge University CELTA or DELTA, or their equivalent).
Our methodology is based on students' active participation in the learning process, the teachers aim to ensure that learning a language is varied, fun and interesting. The classroom language is English - students' native language is not used. Our students learn in groups of 8-10 people on average, but often less. Tallinn Language Centre / International House Tallinn offers lessons in school as well as online. Live online classes are taught by our teachers via ZOOM where teachers and students can interact with each other easily.
